SWTC sticker design with hand drawn building and clouds

T-Shirt Turned Sticker

I was commissioned to design a T-shirt for sale in the Southwest Wisconsin Technical College bookstore to help raise funds for the Graphics Innovation Club. Although the team loved the artwork, we ultimately decided it would be even more effective as a sticker. The final design was printed and sold as stickers instead. I created the illustration using Adobe Illustrator, incorporating hand-drawn elements, such as the campus building and clouds, using a Wacom tablet.

Branding | Inimitable Alchemy

As a semester-long project during my final semester in school, I created and branded a fragrance company called Inimitable Alchemy. Inimitable Alchemy, as a concept, curates fragrances based on the results of a personality quiz. Click the title to take a closer look at Inimitable Alchemy!

Branding | Diabolical Beauty

As part of an ongoing collaboration with the owner of Diabolical Beauty LLC in La Crosse, WI, I assist her with overall branding and social media content development. One of the first projects I worked on was designing the primary logo and a simplified lettermark version for the salon, as well as a new logo for her upcoming fragrance line. I used Adobe Illustrator for the logo designs and Photoshop to create mockups, including one featuring the logo on a black background with shears. While the logo appears on the business card, the card layout and additional artwork were not created by me.

Edgar Allan Poe T-Shirt

I designed this T-shirt using Adobe Illustrator, inspired by my favorite Edgar Allan Poe quote: "Is all that we see or seem but a dream within a dream?" The visual elements were carefully crafted to reflect the poem’s unique blend of melancholy and hope, capturing its emotional tone through typography, composition, and imagery.

social media posts of three women for women's history month

Digital Marketing - Women's History month

Using Adobe Photoshop, I created a series of social media graphics for the Graphic & Web Design program’s Facebook and Instagram pages. Scheduled for the first week of March, the posts highlighted influential women in celebration of Women’s History Month. Each design was crafted using a range of tools, including masks, custom brushes, and carefully chosen typography, resulting in visually distinct pieces that reflected the individuality and impact of the women featured.

Stickers About Feminism

I had some fun creating a sticker sheet using Adobe Illustrator. Equality, empowerment, and advocacy are super important to me, which is why I chose to center this project around that theme. I hand-drew the clouds, sword, ribbon, and hearts, and found typography that fit the mood I was going for. I then made sure my color scheme was fitting, which tied the whole thing together.

Pantone Collage

Pantone Collage

Using Adobe Illustrator, I created this collage only colored with Pantone 192, which I feel is a beautiful and eye-catching hue. Pantone colors are also known as spot colors, which means you change the saturation of the hue to create variety. I called the piece perspective for that reason--because something as simple as the saturation changing can create a dynamic piece of art. The piece was printed on a Roland printer with a die-cut going around the tentacles to make them appear to be emerging from the frame.

SWAT Poster

For a Typography class project, my classmates and I were tasked with designing posters for the Southwest Accounting Team (SWAT) at Southwest Wisconsin Technical College, using Adobe Illustrator. The department would then select its favorite to display on its walls. I was honored to learn that SWAT voted for my design, and it will be proudly displayed in their department for years to come.

The Grange restaurant logo mocked up on a scenic image of a wineglass and plate of food

The Grange Logo Design

I designed this logo using Adobe Illustrator for a fictional restaurant called The Grange. I used the colors, typography, and artwork to fit the fresh, locally sourced tone that the brand was requesting. I used Adobe Photoshop for the mockup to show how the logo could be used for advertising.

website mockup for a nonprofit website

Web Design - Passages

I designed and proposed a website for Passages, Inc., a nonprofit organization that supports survivors of domestic violence. Using WordPress, I built the site with a focus on creating a welcoming and safe atmosphere. Every design choice—including color palette, imagery, and typography—was intentionally selected to reflect the supportive environment the organization strives to provide for its clients.

Movie Poster - The Lion's Kin

I was assigned a parody movie title, The Lion's Kin, to create a movie poster using Adobe Photoshop. I used layers, clipping masks, unique brush tools, and layer masks to create a collage that comes together as one image that tells a story.

blue lockers with magnets

Magnet Design

Using Adobe Illustrator primarily, I used my typography skills to create two magnets to inspire creativity in those who happened to walk by and see them. The magnets were designed for my PrePress class, in which we printed the vinyl on a Roland printer and transferred it to the magnetic surface. They were displayed in a busy hallway that many people pass through on their way to class.

Lyric Video

Adobe After Effects is a lot of fun to work with. I carefully timed typography for this project with Green Day's song "Suzie Chapstick" to create this fun, dynamic lyric video. (Click the heading to view the video on YouTube!)
